The island's entire southern arc is fringed with sandy bays known collectively as Platja de Migjorn. Development (and clothes) are kept to a bare minimum on this swathe of coast, beloved of naturists and escapists. Some of the best beaches are at the eastern end around Es Arenals. A series of sandy tracks lead to Migjorn from the main island highway. Buses run to Ca Marí and Club Maryland.
