The contemporary art museum is housed in a skilfully converted 1930s wholesale market on the river estuary. The bizarre triangular floor plan of the building has been retained, with its cubist lines and shapes brilliantly displaying the modern art. Painted entirely white, windows and all, the museum exhibits works from well-known contemporary artists such as Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst.
