Found inside the pleasant Parc Nou , a botanical garden of Olot-area flora, the Museu dels Volcans has a schoolroom feel with its detailed displays on volcanoes, types of eruptions and Garrotxa's geology. Most enjoyable is the audiovisual presentation including a knee-trembling earthquake simulator. Other displays cover local flora, fauna and ecosystems. Opens extended hours in summer.
