This tiny village is a hub of contemporary art and sculpture thanks, primarily, to a former mayor who helped to initiate an annual sculpture and art symposium back in the 1970s. As well as the artwork exhibited in a downstairs gallery in the tourist office, there are sculptures on permanent display in the village. It opens shorter hours in low season.
