Tiny Sant Mateu d'Aubarca is one of the most isolated villages in Ibiza, and the focus of the region's farming community (there are several local vineyards). It's worth dropping by its fortified church, which dates from the late 18th century, and has a triple-arched front porch and two tiny chapels. 'Aubarca' refers to a nearby bay, once the village's port.
