Delectable Cala Saona is a lovely cove on the west side of the island where the water is a startling shade of luminous blue and the sand salt white. However you'll have to put up with the looming presence of the concrete Hotel Cala Saona which dominates the back of the bay. The turn-off for Saona is signposted off the Cap de Barbària road.
