Palma is sprinkled with eye-catching buildings that resulted from the strange and fecund, if brief, period of architectural imagination known as Modernisme. Several buildings on Plaça d'Espanya, including Bar Cristal, betray Modernista influences. The more you wander around with an attentive eye, the more examples, often minor, you will turn up.
