It might be called a plaza, but with its duck ponds, flower beds and many trees this square is as much a formal garden park as a city plaza. It was designed by French landscape gardner Pierre Ducasse and includes a large multi-coloured flower clock. Around Christmas time a giant nativity scene fills the square.
