This spot marks the first human settlement in Ibiza. In the mid-7th century BC, Carthaginians established a foothold here, constructing a small hamlet by the sea. Beyond metal railings are the foundations of buildings. Information panels explaining the site's significance, though it's not very impressive to the eye.
