This well-documented site is 3.5km south of the town centre. The Dama de Elche was unearthed here, a masterpiece of Iberian art that’s now in Madrid. Entry includes the excellent archaeological museum, displaying rich findings from a settlement occupied continuously from Neolithic to late-Visigoth times.
