Kungajaktmuseet Älgens Berg, the royal hunting museum, is at Hunneberg and tells you everything you could ever wish to know about elk. It also offers organised hikes and elk and beaver safaris; book in advance. Transport links are tedious – your best bet is to catch the frequent bus 62 from the town square to Vägporten, then walk 2km uphill.
