Nyon’s castle was started in the 12th century, modified 400 years later and now houses the town’s Musée Historique et des Porcelaines and, in its old stone cellars, the Caveau des Vignerons where you can taste different Nyon wines by local producers. Pay Sfr25 per person to sample two reds, two whites and one rosé with a plate of charcuterie (cold meats), cheese and nibbles. Don’t miss the sweeping view of Lake Geneva from the château terrace.
