Squirreled away in a cobbled courtyard in the Old Town, this grand residence was built by Georges Supersaxo in 1505 to provoke his friend-turned-enemy, the bishop of Sion. Exhibits tracing the city’s history are eclipsed by the beautiful faded frescos, cross-ribbed vaulting and intricately carved ceilings of the building itself.
