On Lake Uri's eastern shore, this chapel is covered in murals depicting four episodes in the Tell legend, including the one that’s supposed to have occurred on this spot, his escape from Gessler’s boat. There’s a huge carillon that chimes behind the chapel.
Tellskapelle is 30 minutes south of Brunnen by ferry.
