Diavolezza

Home to the longest glacial downhill ski route in Switzerland, as well as a varied network of ski runs, it’s not hard to see why Diavolezza is a popular haunt for powder junkies. Standing 3,000 meters proud, Diavolezza Mountain adds an impressive eight peaks to the Bernina skyline, accessible by gondola from the Diavolezza train station.

It’s not all about winter sports though - Diavolezza makes a great base for climbing the surrounding peaks of Piz Palü, Piz Bernina and Bianco Grat. It is also great for glacial hiking expeditions to Pers & Morteratsch Glaciers. It’s home to Europe’s highest whirlpool bath at the Berghaus Diavolezza hotel, clocking in at 3,000 meters above sea level and serving up 41-degree waters to counteract the icily cold evenings.
