Rize's fragrant and floral tea garden is next to the Çaykur tea factory; 20 minutes' walk above town via the steep main road (Zihni Derin Caddesi) leading uphill behind the Şeyh Camii. Enjoy the superb views with a fresh brew of local leaves – a typical Rize experience. Taxis charge ₺8 from the main square up to the tea garden. If you don't make it here, sip tea in town at the competing Doǧus shop.
