Owned by architect Melkan Gürsel Tabanlıoğlu and serious (ie mega-moneyed) art collector Taha Tatlıcı, Galerist occupies the 1st floor of a beautiful 18th-century building in one of the city's most fashionable enclaves. It shows Turkish and international artists working in a variety of media. The gallery's second space is located in the rapidly gentrifying Golden Horn suburb of Hasköy.
