Northeast of the centre en route to Ani, the city museum has exhibits from the Old Bronze Age, the Urartian, Roman and Greek periods, and the Seljuk and Ottoman eras. Photographs show excavations at Ani and Kars province's ruined Armenian churches, as well as the neolithic cave paintings at Camuslu, south of Kars between Keçivan and Çengilli.
