The sacred pool in the Antique Pool spa's courtyard has submerged sections of original fluted marble columns to lounge against. The water, which is abundant in minerals and a more-than-balmy 36 degrees, was thought to have restorative powers in antiquity, and may well still do. In summer, it is busiest from 11am to 4pm.
