About 5km northeast of Fethiye's centre is Çalış, a narrow stretch of gravel beach lined with mass-produced hotels as well as pubs and chip shops patronised by resident British expats. Dolmuşes depart for Çalış (₺2, 10 minutes) from the minibus station beside the mosque every five to 10 minutes throughout the day.
