Built between 1378 and 1387 under Sultan Murat I, Yeşil Cami (Green Mosque) has Seljuk Turkish proportions, influenced by Seljuk homeland Iran. The minaret's green-and-blue-glazed zigzag tiles foreshadowed the famous local industry.
