The oldest still-functioning brewery in Ukraine turns 300 in 2015, and a tasting tour, which runs roughly every 1½ hours, through the mainly underground facilities is well worth the trek out of the city centre. One old storage vault has been turned into an atmospheric beer hall where you can sample even more frothy Lvivske, one of the most popular brands in the country. To reach the museum, take tram 7 to St Anna Church (where vul Shevchenka peels away from vul Horodotska) then walk north along vul Kleparivska for around 10 minutes.
