St Dogmaels Abbey was dissolved along with all of Britain's monasteries by Henry VIII in 1536, but you can wander around its artful remains with an insightful audio guide. The visitor centre in the Coach House tells the abbey's story and includes a small museum with relics from the abbey, a cafe and gallery. Medieval fun days are run during the year and there's a vibrant weekly produce market .
