This museum is in the Coliseum, which opened in 1905 as a theatre and served as a cinema from 1932 onwards. The elegant interior still has its stage and the artfully arranged displays include entertaining exhibitions on Aberystwyth's history – everything from old chemist furnishings and hand-knitted woollen knickers to a wall devoted to the Little Britain TV series.
