This hugely popular but steep and unpleasantly stony public beach (bring flip-flops) fulfills the bare requirements of those seeking a Dead Sea float in that it has toilets and changing rooms (2NIS; 6am to 7pm or 8pm) and a 24-hour snack bar. Situated 1km south (a 20-minute walk) along Rte 90 from the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve turn-off.
