This outpost of the early-20th-century Hejaz Railway is in the heart of the city, with 13 recently refurbished Hejazi-inspired buildings stretching over 80,000 sq metres. The station includes a workshop, a handicrafts centre and a building housing a locomotive and freight car. Adjacent is a state-of-the-art modern museum, scheduled to open in late 2016, dedicated to the railway’s history and Tabuk’s cultural history. Two other stations lie in Tabuk's hinterland.
