With rare collections of Arabic calligraphy and copies of the Quran dating back to the 16th century, this priceless collection of manuscripts is intended primarily as a research centre but is also open to public view. Part of the magic of the collection is its location in the mosque's minaret, giving an aerial view of the mosque's magnificent domes and the city and outlying islands beyond.
The library is located off Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed St.
