Local Don 'Big Daddy' Garlits won 144 national events and 17 World Championship titles, shattering numerous records in his hand-built breakneck speedsters. A visit to Ocala isn't complete without checking out his twin museums. First up, the Museum of Drag Racing, where you'll see engine collections and an impressive line-up of about 150 dragsters. The adjacent Museum of Classic Cars houses a phenomenal collection of more than 70 autos, including a 1926 Model T and Don's two-toned 1950 Mercury, driven by the Fonz in Happy Days . Allow two hours to look around.
