Anchors aweigh! Landlubbers approach the property via a wood-bottomed bridge with hemp rope-supported sides that spans artificial Sirens' Cove , set beside a vague replica of an 18th-century sea village. The spicy Sirens of TI engage in a hilarious mock sea battle of the sexes that pits sultry femme-fatale pirates dressed like lingerie models against manly renegade freebooters. The show's ships – a Spanish privateer vessel and a British frigate – face off several times nightly, weather permitting. Much of the sexual humor goes right over kids' heads, but the Playboy-style getups are clearly geared towards an adult audience (imagine Pirates of the Caribbean meets a Victoria's Secret fashion show).
Entertainment-wise, the true highlight here is Cirque du Soleil's classic production Mystère , an oddball celebration of life that begins with a pair of babies making their way in a world filled with off-the-wall creatures. A misguided clown's humorous antics are interspersed with the agile feats of acrobats, aerialists and dancers.
The pool complex has VIP cabanas, a huge party-friendly hot tub that can fit up to 25 people and a DJ spinning a bumpin' soundtrack on hot summer weekends.
