To see vast cultivated fields of color, head to Wildseed Farms, which is 7 miles east of Fredericksburg on US 290. Aside from its magnificent blooms, there is a cafe where you can grab some tasty snacks and drinks (including local beers) and sit on the patio enjoying the flower-scented fresh air.
