More exhibits for Lincoln-o-philes. Displays on the 3rd and 4th floors show the assassination’s aftermath and how Lincoln's legacy lives on in current politics and pop culture. The center is operated in conjunction with the Ford's Theatre historic site. You'll need a ticket for entry; get it across the street at the theater box office.
The 1st floor holds a Lincoln-stuffed gift shop, as well as a 34ft tower of Lincoln books (they’re actually an aluminum sculpture) that rise up in the middle of the space – a testament to how much has been written about the 16th president.
