The Hasegawa family has operated a general store in Hana since 1910. The narrow aisles inside the tin-roof store are jam-packed with fishing poles, machetes, soda pop and bags of poi. This icon of mom-and-pop shops is always crowded with locals picking up supplies, travelers stopping for snacks and the ATM, and sightseers buying ʻI Survived the Hana Highway' T-shirts.
The store produces the helpful (and free) Hana Visitors guide that includes history about the store, a town map and listings for sights and activities.
