This 100-room 1892 mansion is part inn, part gallery performance space and part private club. In this latter incarnation, it has hosted Hollywood celebrities and Chelsea Clinton’s sweet-16 party. The decor is like a wedding at Castle Dracula: swags of velvet drapery, ornate chandeliers, candelabras and concealed doorways. And it’s all for sale! The mansion serves food and drinks, but we recommend sticking to the bizarro self-guided tour. Register online for a time slot at least 24 hours in advance.
