This abandoned harbor offers no sandy beach, so what's the appeal? Some very fine snorkeling and diving. Head into the blue and you'll see coral-encrusted underwater mooring chains that lead to the wreckage of an old ship in the center of the harbor; said ship is home to multicolored fish and creeping eels. The left side of the park leads into a county park, where a shabby cluster of picnic tables and restrooms overlooks a scenic, if formidable, beach.
