In a city famous for neon signs, one reigns supreme: the 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada' sign, straddling Las Vegas Blvd just south of the Strip proper. Designed by Betty Willis in the late '50s, the sign fell into disrepair in the '70s. Today it's a classic symbol of Sin City and a reminder of Las Vegas' glamorous past. As you drive by the original welcome sign, you can pull into a small parking lot to snap a photo.
