1853ft-long Huntington Pier has been here – in one form or another – since 1904. The mighty Pacific has damaged giant sections or completely demolished it multiple times since then, though. The current concrete structure was built in 1983 to withstand 31ft waves or a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, whichever hits HB first. On the pier you can rent a fishing pole from Let’s Go Fishin’ bait and tackle shop.
