Near the Film & Television Archive in UCLA, this museum presents sometimes intriguing, and sometimes baffling ethno-exhibits. A recent one featured paintings, sculpture and digital works inspired by the saints, sinners and folklore from Mexico, the Caribbean, South America and New Orleans. Another displayed the Yaqui masks of Carlos Castaneda, the author of a series of books on shamanism.
