The 190-acre Cape May Point State Park, just off Lighthouse Ave, has 2 miles of trails, plus the famous Cape May Lighthouse. Built in 1859, the 157ft lighthouse recently underwent a $2 million restoration, and its completely reconstructed light is visible as far as 25 miles out to sea. You can climb the 199 stairs to the top in the summer months. Hours change daily; call for details.
