A highly regarded American zoo (and the second most popular attraction in the state), it's home to about 5000 inhabitants representing 650 species, including many endangered species. Check out the Komodo dragons and the Great Barrier Reef exhibit. From March to September the zoo is open til 6pm on weekends; from late October to February it closes daily at 4pm.
