Phoenix has worked its way up the ladder of art cities that matter. Scottsdale in particular teems with galleries laden with everything from epic Western oil paintings to cutting-edge sculpture and moody Southwestern landscapes. Every Thursday evening some 100 of them keep their doors open until 9pm for Art Walk, which centers on Marshall Way and Main St.
