Just north of, and run in conjunction with, the state park is one of the Windward Coast’s only small boat harbors. It’s fun just to watch the comings and goings of local boat owners. On weekends they head out to the ‘sandbar’, a raised spit in the bay that becomes a mooring party place for people to kick back and relax.
