These beaches, which technically join in one contiguous stretch of sand, have their beauty and charms, but the middle section thins out, exposing drain pipes and breakwaters at low tide. It’s best to stick to the northern stretch of Redondo (which is actually south of the pier), and the southern edge of Torrance Beach.
