Several crescent-shaped beaches run by the county are found southwest of town off FM 3005 (the continuation of Seawall Blvd). Their names are taken right off the odometer: 7 Mile Rd, 9 Mile Rd and 11 Mile Rd. All have bathrooms and showers, and the latter two have concession stands. Parking rates are reduced weekdays.
