Arguably Utah's most diverse and stunning route, Hwy 12 Scenic Byway winds through rugged canyon land on a 124-mile journey west of Bryce Canyon to near Capitol Reef. The section between Escalante and Torrey traverses a moonscape of sculpted slickrock, crosses narrow ridgebacks and climbs over an 11,000ft-tall mountain.
