Dedicated to Hendrix in 2006, the park abuts the Northwest African American Museum just north of the Beacon Hill neighborhood. At the time of research, it was just a grassy expanse, but ambitious development plans have been approved. Proposals include rain drums, a butterfly garden and a performance area.
