During the early 20th century, cattle were herded down to Manele Bay for shipment to Honolulu. These days the herds start in Maui, traveling on day trips to Lanaʻi on the ferry. There's a few picnic tables under a shelter and bathrooms. If you see a huge sailing yacht, it may be Larry's.
