A train ride to the massive Dia Beacon museum is the perfect way to escape the city for an afternoon and take in the scenic landscapes of this beautiful region from the comfort of the Metro North. Though moderate temperatures make spring and summer an ideal time to visit, spectacular foliage makes fall a favorite time to travel.
