Jackson Hole Aerial Tram

One of the most iconic symbols of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram has been whisking guests and locals 4,139 vertical feet in fifteen minutes to an altitude of 10,450 feet (3185 meters) at the top of Rendezvous mountain since 1966. The current Tram is the “new Tram,” which debuted in 2008; the old Tram was decommissioned in style with a massive on-mountain party. In the winter, skiers use the Tram to access terrain on Rendezvous mountain as well as out-of-bounds, extreme terrain. Other guests simply ride the Tram for the must-do experience and views, perhaps grabbing a bite to eat at Corbet’s Cabin up top. During the summer, the Tram transports hikers, mountain bikers and paragliders in addition to vista seekers: on a clear day the Tram affords views of the Gros Ventre Range, Snake River Valley, Grand Teton National Park, the summit of Grand Teton (the highest peak in the Teton Range) and the expanse of the Jackson Hole Valley.

The Jackson Hole Aerial Tram operates seven days a week from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. during the summer (open until 6 p.m. from June 15 – Sept. 2) and winter season and is closed when the mountain resort is closed (from Easter – end of May and end of September until Thanksgiving). The price of a Tram ride in the wintertime is included in your lift ticket price; for foot passengers during the winter, tickets are $29 for adults, $23 for seniors and $15 for juniors (children 14 and under). During the summer, ticket prices are $32 for adults, $24 for seniors and $16 for children 6 - 17. Children 5 and under ride for free. Save $6 off the price of the Tram ticket by booking online. As lift ticket prices may change each season, the prices for the Tram may change as well. The Tram is free for all purchased JHMR Grand Pass® season pass holders all summer long.
