One look at the majestic Yukon River and you'll want to spend time strolling its bank. The beautiful White Pass & Yukon Route Station has been restored and anchors an area that's in the midst of a revitalization. Rotary Peace Park at the south end is a great picnic spot.
The new Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre has changing exhibits and plans a museum showing how local First Nations groups used the river.
At the north end of the waterfront, Shipyards Park has a growing collection of historic structures gathered territory-wide and a skateboard track and toboggan hill. Linking it all is a cute little waterfront trolley which runs all the way from the SS Klondike north to Quartz Rd north of Shipyards Park.
