Formed as early as 1977 from the townsfolk's desire to have a safe place to store their antique and preserve the memories and stories of their forefathers, this astounding collection of over 30 preserved buildings, vehicles and an unfathomable volume of historic artifacts has been largely unknown to the outside world for over 30 years. Virtually everyone in the town, regardless of generation, has contributed to the creation and maintenance of this truly wonderful memorial site, similar in concept to Ontario's Upper Canada Village.
